Lisa Hughes has served as Quinley Financial Stewardship's Investment Services Specialist since 2015. In that detail-oriented, weekday morning role, Lisa focuses primarily on investment services (client services, operations support, and administrative assistance). Lisa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from University of the Pacific and has 21 years financial services experience.
During the first two-and-a-half years after college graduation, Lisa worked as a bank examiner and then as a financial advisor for Prudential Securities. During 14 subsequent years, Lisa was employed helping insurance brokers and clients (employers and individuals) make informed decisions about purchases of group and individual health insurance products. She held a series of positions with progressively greater scope and responsibility, the most senior of which was as Regional Sales Manager for Nationwide Health Plans. Lisa also resolved claim, billing and other service issues, and helped individuals select life insurance, retirement plan, and annuity products.
Lisa is intentional about her pursuit of a balance between career and other personal goals. Reflecting that focus, as well as her abilities and versatility, Lisa passed the California Basic Educational Skills Test in 2013. She then served at St. Paul’s School for two years as a substitute teacher (and in other project-focused roles) before joining our team.
